Art Forward
- Track Announcer
- Hometown: Eastern Passage, N.S.
- Bio: “2007 will be my second full year. I got into announcing motorsports events while competing in the regional autoslalom event in Slemon PEI in 2005. On the first day of the event I worked a busy course area and was exhausted at the end of the day from chasing cones. The second day the organizers took pity on me. They handed me a microphone and told me to read off the times at the end of the each competitor’s run. Just reading it was boring, so I added some colour commentary. The race director at AMP heard I did a decent job and the rest, as they say, is history!”
